Dates use your device’s calendar. If you were born on 29 February, the calculator counts your birthday on 28 February in years that are not leap years.
How to calculate your age
Your age is the number of full years since your date of birth. The calculator counts whole years first, then the whole months since your last birthday, and finally the days left over — the way people normally say their age.
Example: born on 17 May 1990, on 6 November 2026 you are 36 years, 5 months and 20 days old. That is 13,322 days, or 1,903 weeks and 1 day.
What the calculator shows
- Exact age in years, months and days, and the weekday you were born on.
- Totals: your age in months, weeks, days and hours.
- Next birthday: the date and the age you will turn.
- Zodiac sign for your date of birth.
- Milestones such as 10,000 days, 1,000 weeks or 1 billion seconds — with the date and how far away it is.
Change Age at the date to find how old someone was or will be on any day — for example on a wedding day, at the start of school or on a form’s reference date.
Born on 29 February?
In years that are not leap years there is no 29 February. The calculator then counts the birthday on 28 February, which is also how many people celebrate it. Some legal systems use 1 March instead, so check the local rule if it matters for a document.
Why months are tricky
Months have 28 to 31 days, so “1 month” is counted on the calendar: from 17 May to 17 June is one month. If the day does not exist in the later month (31 January → February), the last day of that month is used.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my age?
Subtract your year of birth from the current year, and subtract one more if you have not had your birthday yet this year. The calculator does this to the day and also shows months and days.
How old am I in days?
Enter your date of birth: the calculator shows the total number of days you have lived, as well as weeks, hours and upcoming milestones such as 10,000 days.
How old will I be on a certain date?
Change the second date to the day you want. The calculator shows your age on that day.
When will I be 10,000 days old?
About 27 years and 4 months after you were born. The milestones table shows the exact date for your date of birth.
